Big Bear Lake

“Big Bear Lake is a small city, located west of the town of Big Bear City.  Big Bear Lake is one of the most popular and largest recreation lakes in Southern California.  The lake itself is seven miles long and is one of the key summer attractions in Big Bear. Hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding are among other popular activities at Big Bear Lake. In regards to fishing, some of the most common fishes are trout, bass, and catfish.  Visitors coming to Big Bear Lake have the opportunity to enjoy the lake through boat rentals, Jet Ski rentals, wakeboarding, canoes, kayaks, stand- up paddle boards, and zip lining.  Tours such as Big Bear Pirate Ship, Scenic Char at Snow Summit, Helicopter Big Bear, and Action Segway Tours are available. Relax at either Mountain Mobile Massage or Altitude Massage during your stay to make your time there more luxurious. It is clear that there is something fun and exciting to do for the whole family here at Big Bear Lake”.

Green Valley Lake

“Known as the “Hidden Gem” of the San Bernardino Mountains! Green Valley Lake is secluded due to being surrounded by the beautiful National Forest which is the very reason why it is small and uncrowded.  Visitors come to Green Valley Lake to seek clean air, stunning blue skies, crystal clear water, and the beauty of a calm, quiet forested community.  The closest communities are Arrowhead and Running Springs. When visiting Green Valley Lake get ready to experience hiking, fishing, swimming, camping and cabin rentals, bird watching, mountain biking, horseback riding,  and in the winter cross-country skiing.  Green Valley Lake is truly the best kept secret in the San Bernardino Mountains!”

The area is filled with deep canyons, steep slopes, cliffs, and narrow ridges.  The town has been the site for multiple activities including gold mining, farming, fishing, camping, and hiking.  The town is also a part of the San Bernardino National Forest, where guest can hike the Bonita Falls Trail for hiking, along with Lytle Creek Middle Fork Trail for birding, hiking, and camping”.

Baldy is the place for skiers, snowboarders, tubers, hikers and mountain bikers who are able to show their strength with the multiple trails that are available throughout the mountain.  When visiting Mt. Baldy, guests are able to experience the San Antonio Falls, a 75 foot waterfall that is only a walk from the main road.   Hike at Mt. Baldy’s highest summit of the San Gabriel Mountains at 10,064 feet with a view like no other of cities, deserts, mountains, and oceans. Talk about a one of a kind destination!  In addition to hiking, Baldy provides steep inclines and rugged terrain, making it extremely popular with road racers and mountain bikers.  During the winter, Mt. Baldy is snow-capped making it the place to be during the winter season.  Mt. Baldy provides various levels of skiing and snowboarding that can range from very beginner to the steepest vertical drop in Southern California.  Guest can ski or snowboard in wide open glades, tree runs, bowls, groomed runs, cornices, and natural waves like quarter pipes.  Don’t know how to ski or snowboard? No problem! Mt. Baldy has a ski and snowboarding school where all attendees are taught on very flat slopes.  Tubing has gained increased popularity for the whole family to enjoy”.
